Going to droks on foot. Wish there'd been more "epic journeys" like that in the game.

Dzagonur Bastion... Best! Mission! Ever! so good if you know how to do it, but a bitch if you dont.
Other then that... first time I instagibed someone with a sin was cool (soon lost the coolness factor), and probably the first time I won the deep.

I have to say Pre- is still the most beautiful place in the game, but standing in the crystal desert looking at the HUGE statues all around is pretty awe inspiring too.

One of my favorite places in Prophecies is Yak's Bend. I think it's one of the best designed outposts in the game and getting there the first time felt like a big accomplishment.
Pongmei Valley in factions is gorgeous. I was soooo happy to get there after getting through that crap-fest of a city, and soooo irritated when I found out I had to go back into it!
The first time going through the Chabek Village mission was fun. When I saw what that was about, defending the village and sinking the corsair ships, I thought "If this is the kind of stuff we're gonna see in the rest of the game, Nightfall is gonna be a lot of fun!"

Scenery and the Lore always catches my interest in any game.
And by Lore I mean the storyline and the background information.

I still have my very first char on my main account ..my Ranger. The
experiance moving from Pre into the destuction of the areas around Ascalon
the Teaming up with people who like myself explored the areas as we moved
through the Storyline.
The people who grouped where friendly not wishing to rush the game in case
we missed something.
This made me buy the other ones as soon as they were released.
I have to say overall I enjoyed Proficies the most as each area had its own
particular area that I liked as with Factions and Nightfall each has some wow factor areas

First time playing trough Nightfall and particular Istan and Vabbi was pretty epic for me. Felt like i was playing another game not just another chapter.

Just took my warrior through the part I HATE with all my guts, the desert in C1, and since the poor sod is Tyrian (beauty above all) - he needed to go to the Arid Sea to get his 15 attribute points.
And there I was remembered of one of my first 'damn'-moments when I walked all over that chick-statue!
LOVE that one!

The first was Nolani Academy. The rush of trying to keep up with Prince Leeroy when he was the highest-level character around, and then the "What?! No!" effect of the end cutscene. I hear a decent challenge + an immersive storyline is how you make a good game, no?
The second was the desert. I remember wandering around for hours in Diviner's Ascent - there were no directions, and I was walking with henchies (who kept wiping, which made the going tough). But the scenery, the music, the feel of desolation (not Desolation, which was an UGH take on the Crystal Desert's sand-blasted beauty), and the "free-world" feel of the exploration all made it a great experience.
